Lambro Skropidis who used to be the head of marketing at Samsung has now switched to a competitor company, LG. He gave his resignation to Samsung in December of 2011.
Lambro Skropidis had a great rack record as the head of marketing at Samsung. He was responsible for growing the companies tablet and mobile phone sectors.
In a previous interview, he mentioned that he wanted Samsung to move from the value device to the luxury or mid-tier play.
He mentioned that going for the high volume value approach is a challenge. Right, now they are having great success at this price point. However, he said that as the innovations and features improve they plan on raising prices on phones. Especially for phones with good camera capabilities.
