Bosch smalls set to grow

Bosch has decided to go against the grain this week with its latest product set to go on the market in
Australia. Everyone knows that Bosch is a well-known brand that has a long list of products that they
have sold for years like some white goods, appliances for your kitchen and some fridge’s. However,
their newest product is something that is a lot smaller, a 1600-watt 7-speed kitchen machine.
The company’s decision to move to the small appliance market is a changing of their forward
thinking and is a move in the right direction to further push their case as one of the most
recognisable brands in the world. They do have a huge variety of products like whitegoods and
personal care items that are sold all over the planet and most notably throughout Europe, however
the newest Kitchen Machine is something that the market here in Australian has never seen before
and represents a great chance to take the Australian market by storm.

The development manager from Bosch Jonathan Peart recently spoke about the company’s newest
product and what it means for his company. He stated that Bosch has been regularly making kitchen
machines for around 60 years and they have now decided it is time to bring them here to Australia.
Peart said that Europe’s biggest seller for Bosch is the small appliance category and that Australia is
starting to grow rapidly with its small appliances and the company now feel that this is the perfect
time for them to start selling in the Australian small appliance market and increase their presence
here in Australia.

Peart went on to say that in 2011, Bosch is going to be introducing three brand new categories. They
include Food Preparation and that has three kitchen machines, a couple of food processors, along
with three hand blenders. On top of all that there is more, four automatic coffee machines, three
vacuum cleaners that are all bagless and three stick vacuum cleaners.
Apart from the products that were just mentioned, Peart stated that eventually soon the company
would be rolling out other products like toasters and kettles for people’s kitchens and that there
would be a chance for further growth for steam stations and clothing care too. That just shows you
that Bosch are committed to covering all the bases for small appliances
Lastly Peart said that at Bosch, they will keep continuing their work to update all their current food
preparation models as well as their floor care products too. Adding to that he said that with the
growth of small appliances and the value at which people put on them throughout their daily lives, it
is the perfect time for the well known Bosch brand to roll out its small appliance category. In
finishing, Jonathan Peart said that as always, Bosch will continue to increase the value of the small
appliance categories but ensuring the highest quality of their products and also in the way in which
they will try and modernise their famous products.
In closing, Bosch has always been well known for its tool products for builders and then making the
step into the whitegoods category to further push its case as a global brand. Now they are taking the
next step in their development, going into the small goods market where there is a lot of value for
people and it will only increase the competition from its competitors to raise the bar yet again
because as we know with the Bosch brand, their products are always of the highest quality.
