Nespresso has great customer satisfaction

In a battle of two of the most recognisable coffee machine brands, it was between Nespresso and
De’Longhi to see who would make top spot their own in the Canstar Blue survey for best coffee
machine satisfaction. Along with Nespresso and De’Longhi, another famous appliance brand in
Sunbeam also did quite well for themselves in this survey when they wanted to get feedback from
their customers on how their appliances were doing since they bought them.

In total there were nearly 700 people who decided to take this survey. In the survey questions were
asked if the appliance was easy to use and easy to clean, was it value for money and what kind of
quality of coffee was generated by the machine. All these questions were asked so we could get a
full review of just who the best was.
Nespresso won hands down when compared to its other competitors. That managed to get the full 5
stars when they were rated in every category. Brands that managed to get four-star ratings were
Sunbeam and De’longhi while others like Saeco and Breville both received three stars for their
ratings.
Rebecca Logan, who is Canstar Blue manager said that Nespresso had done everything it could
possibly do so that it keeps its title as Australia’s favourite when it comes to the coffee machine
market. They always have a high attention to the quality of their appliances as well as the
modernisation of its products in what is an extremely competitive market. So, to be able to be top of
the mountain again is a great achievement.
Although Nespresso can be happy being rated the best yet again, some of the other brands have
pointed out the actual size of the survey. It was described in the Appliance Retail magazine in 2011
that around 400,000 coffee appliances were purchased in a year and that caused some confusion
because that means that to survey only showed just a tenth of a percent of the coffee machines that
were bought buy consumers and therefor the survey would not contain all of the proper statistics
needed for the survey.

Add to that the list of coffee machine brands that are considered high quality that were for one
reason or another, were not included in the survey. They include Smeg, Bosch and Jura, among
others and this has led people to ask why the survey did not include every available brand in the
survey. Because of this, some consumers are questioning the validity of the survey, simply because
not all coffee machine brands were represented.

A website by the name of Current.com.au went a step further and tried to speak to Canstar Blue
regarding why certain brands were left out of the survey and why there was such a small size of
surveys done and they are yet to hear back from them.
So at the time of writing Nespresso has topped the list as the best coffee machine when it comes to
customer satisfaction, but you have to question as to why numerous brands were not included in the
survey as for me, they all should have been put forward so the public can truly see who is the out an
out best on the market.
