Everybody knows LG Electronics; they are the company that gave us a fridge that remarkably came
with internet and they are not stopping there. They have now put forward a range of new and
exciting products that will be put in the group of its Smart Thing Technologies bracket.

On top of the mandatory robotic vacuum, in 2012 LG used the CES Show that was located in Las
Vegas to introduce us to the new internet fridge, a washing machine that comes with Wi-Fi, along
with a product called an e-oven. There was a specific software program that incredibly allowed all
the appliances mentioned above to be able to communicate to one another.
We will now talk about the LG Smart Fridge. It is a French door fridge that has an LCD panel on it and
it also comes with a touchscreen for easy use. It also comes compatible with an app that you can
download onto your phone, that means that when you run out of something in your fridge you can
then manage your shopping list as well as expired foods too. Another perk is that when you finally
“log in” all the contents that you have put in your fridge, it will then tell you what you can cook with
those items, how good is that!
CEO of LG Home Appliances Moon-bum- Shin said that the direction that LG is currently going in,
with the improvements in technology it will help make customers lives easier and will increase the
standards of which they live their lives. In addition, he stated that being able to have LG appliances
be connected via apps through smartphones is a great way for the company to get to the goal of
enriching peoples lives. By doing this it will made your household work more efficiently and in turn
save you time as well as money.

Then there is the Smart cooking oven from LG. As I mentioned before your fridge can tell you what
dishes you can make once you have checked in all your food. Once that is done that information is
then sent to your smart oven. Mr. Shin stated that the oven is a very good size and it comes with
great features that include, the ability to Adapt, Access and Diagnose all of your cooking items, all
through the Wi-Fi that is built into the appliance.

On top of this it lets you access the status of your appliance with the app, it gives you the ability to
send information regarding cooking time directly to the oven from their phone. The diagnosis ability
makes it easy for people to detect any cooking problems, all from their phone.

Then there is the Smart Diagnosis Wi-Fi washing machine. LG has stated that the washing machine
can in fact diagnose by itself if problems arise, for things like water input breakdowns and LG hopes
that this will greatly limit the amount of calls for people to servicemen to have them fixed. People
who do in fact have a LG Wi-Fi washing machine will have the ability to keep track of how their
washing machine is tracking through a Smart TV if they have one. By doing this it will save a lot of
time because you will not have to constantly get up and check on how your washing is going.
Lastly is LG’s robot vacuum. Even though these robot vacuums have been available for quite some
time already, they are still extremely popular, and they have a very futuristic look about them. They
look like a robot is vacuuming your house all by itself. That can scare people because of the
advancements in technology over the years but the fact is, they are a great addition to your
household. They can save you a lot of time because the machine takes care of the vacuuming,
allowing you to focus on something else in the house.
