SYDNEY: Belinda Hayward has joined Mokador Direct as marketing coordinator and client contact manager.

Hayward has accumulated Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) experience with Windsor Farm Foods and Pace Eggs.

Hayward will assist with the sell-in and sell-through of the two recently-released George Gregan Espresso Machines as well as developing the direct distribution of the company’s coffee pod business.

“Acceptance of the pod technology is increasingly evident as consumers move to the ‘point and shoot equivalent’ in the coffee market,” said Mokador Direct director, Peter Rozenauers.

“Although retail trade is slow, sales of the George Gregan espresso machine are very strong in the market and we expect double digit percentage point growth in 2006,” he said.

The George Gregan Espresso System is the first integrated espresso machine and coffee pod system to be introduced by a coffee roaster. Mokador coffee is sold through over 700 cafes in Australia.
