LG puts LCD monitors side-by-side with fridges

SYDNEY: LG has announced it will offer a bonus LCD TV monitor with every purchase of participating LG side-by-side or French door fridges.
The six week promotion, which began 12 May, means customers who purchase participating fridges will receive, via redemption, either a 22” LCD TV monitor, valued at MRP $799 or an LG 19-inch LCD TV monitor valued at MRP $599, depending on the model.
Customers must send their completed claim forms and proof of purchase to the address provided no later than 15th July 2008 to claim the monitor. LG claimed they would send the monitor to customers “within 12 weeks of receiving the valid claim form”.
“We are pleased to be able to use the popularity of our side-by-side and French door fridges to offer an added bonus to our customers so they can experience more from the LG brand.” said LG Electronics whitegoods category manager, Glacel Lubrin.
LG said the promotion would be supported by in-store merchandising and co-branded material for participating retailers.
