Sony loses in-car product manager
By Chris Nicholls
SYDNEY: Sony Australia has replaced its long-time in-car entertainment head, Nick Wilson, with a new staff member from Sony India, after Wilson’s departure for what is rumoured to be rival Samsung.
Sony Australia released a statement to Current.com.au stating they could confirm Wilson’s departure from the car entertainment product manager role.
“Sony would like to thank Nick for his contribution in growing the category over the past few years,” said a spokesperson.
Wilson will be replaced by Vivek Handoo, who has worked in both sales and product management roles for in-car entertainment in Sony India for the past four years.
Samsung were contacted in relation to this story but did not return calls.
