Don't renovate! Innovate with Samsung's new S_P_A_C_E fridge

  • Offering more storage without compromising kitchen space
  • Twin Cooling Plus™ for independent cooling of fridge and freezer
  • Cool Select Zone™ offering five separate functions: quick cool, thaw, soft freeze, chill and cool

Australia, 30 April 2008 – Samsung Electronics Australia has today announced the launch of a revolutionary new refrigerator that will change the way people use their fridge. The new S P A C E fridge is big enough inside to store a large family’s weekly shop but small enough outside to fit into a standard sized space, ensuring that the fridge will update any kitchen without the need to renovate.

The stylish S P A C E fits 700+ litres of storage inside a 610 litre footprint. Using ultra thin insulation technology that doesn’t compromise on cooling performance, this fridge is perfect for entertaining, and for families that buy enough food to feed an army!

Say goodbye to festering groceries at the back of the fridge and ensure food stays fresh for longer. Samsung’s Twin Cooling Plus™ provides independent cooling of the fridge and freezer to ensure its contents is kept at an optimal temperature and humidity for freshness.

The Cool Select Zone™ is a five-function cool drawer controlled separately by state-of-the-art technology. It thaws, chills or soft freezes at a flick of switch making your fridge space adapt to your lifestyle. You can now defrost food safely without leaving it out overnight or quickly cool a bottle of wine for a dinner party.

Available in stainless steel, the S P A C E fridge not only looks great, it also offers a multitude of functions for everyday life. The simple-to-use ice and water dispenser provides ice and chilled water around the clock and is easy to keep clean. An in-door ice maker saves valuable freezer space leaving room for more food. In addition, the easy access drinks hatch saves unnecessary energy waste and is strong enough to hold up to 60kg!

Available from July 2008 at RRP $4,499, the S P A C E fridge also boasts Samsung’s unique tower lighting which illuminates the entire fridge, providing better lighting of the space.

  • Ice and water dispenser
