Electrolux to take AEG brand in house

Electrolux has today released a statement, announcing that it will assume responsibility for the AEG-Electrolux brand from 1 January 2008. The distributor for the last 28 years has been Andi-co.

Electrolux Home Products managing director – Australia & New Zealand, John Brown, thanked Andi-co for its work in this statement, with Brown being quoted as saying that Andi-co provided “outstanding support for AEG”.

Andi-co managing director Australia, Rob Hoorn, is quoted as being equally positive. “We have had a very successful 28-year association with AEG-Electrolux and understand Electrolux’s decision to assume total control of its brands,” reads the statement.
