Top five cooking brands achieve ERA recognition

By Martin Vedris

SYDNEY: Australia’s top five cooking brands have been announced and are being voted on by leading retail groups to determine the Best Cooking Supplier in the Electrical Retailing Awards (ERAs), with the winner to be announced on Friday 4 April.

Based on each brand’s total sales value in the category (as measured by GfK), the five Best Cooking Supplier finalists, listed alphabetically are: Chef, Fisher & Paykel, Omega, Smeg and Westinghouse.

A judging panel representing all major retail groups from all over Australia including Retravision, Betta Electrical, The Good Guys, Harvey Norman and NARTA members, is currently casting votes to determine the award winner.

The ERAs will be held at the Sofitel Wentworth in Sydney on Friday 4 April 2008. To book tickets email Ana Melo e Azevedo at ana@intermedia.com.au or phone (02) 9660 2113.
