SYDNEY: As the Olympics gear up, the promotional offers are coming thick and fast. LG’s latest consumer promotion will offer consumers up to $300 on a prepaid Visa card for select LCD TV and DVD recorder or home theatre purchases.
Called the Ultimate Spectator promotion, it runs from 1 July to 24 August 2008 and it’s pretty simple. Consumers will get a pre-paid Visa with the amount of credit loaded on it determined by the value of the product purchased.
A $30 Visa card will be supplied with the purchase of the RH397D and the RH399D DVD recorders and the HT903TA home theatre system, while the HT903WA home theatre system earns a $50 Visa card.
Consumers who purchase the 42LG70YD or the 42LG60FD LCD TVs receive a $100 Pre-paid Visa card. A $150 card applies to the 42LG61YD, and a $200 card applies to the 47LG65YD, 47LG70YD and 47LG60FD.
Topping out the giveaway value at $300 are two 52 inch LCD TV models, the 52LG65YD and the 52LG70YD.
