Click and compare: Just how price competitive is JB Hi-Fi Home?

After announcing the roll out of bricks and mortar stores, JB Hi-Fi Home has officially launched its e-commerce venture with a dedicated microsite selling whitegoods, cooking appliances and smalls.

Current.com.au took a look at the site and did a quick comparison with other online appliance retail sites, across a number of key categories, to get a sense of where JB is positioning itself in the market. While some prices were standard across the board – Dyson, for example, has standardised pricing across most Australian retailers – there were a few discounts to be found.

What follows is a brief look at what Australia's biggest appliance retailers are offering online.
