And forget about watching the ads for brands that have spent millions to align themselves with the Olympic message. There are clearly more important sports, and more important advertisements.
Several weeks ago, UnderCurrent was delighted to learn that Harvey Norman was recruiting dodgeball players to send to send to the biggest sporting event of the year – an international dodgeball tournament in Las Vegas.
Well, it would seem that the retailer has found its sporting heroes and they’re doing a little advertising of their own. Watch as two athletes in peak physical fitness teach you a thing or two about athleticism and electronics. Marvel at their pointing skills and avert your gaze as you bask in their reflected glory.
We can almost hear the brand endorsement cheques stacking up.
