Harvey Norman is offering consumers a unique up-sell opportunity in a new promotion, giving in-store customers the opportunity to buy accessories on selected purchases for just $1.

The Dollar Deals promotion is only available in bricks and mortar Harveys stores, and will finish this weekend, but there are a range of offers across the whitegoods, floorcare and consumer electronics departments, as well as offers on furniture, bedding, flooring and bathroom products.

In the CE category, consumers who purchase a Nikon J1 single lens kit for $678 will have the opportunity to upgrade to a twin lens kit for an extra $1.

Non-Apple laptops over the value of $700 will carry the option to purchase a multi-function printer for $1, while customers buying any Full HD 3D capable TV in a 55-inch or larger screen size will be able to buy a 500GB PVR or 3D-capable Blu-ray player for $1.

In appliances, the LG Follow Me vacuum cleaner ($599) can be bundled with a stick vacuum cleaner for $1 more, and the Fisher & Paykel 8-kilogram WashSmart Top Loader washing machine ($749) can be bundled with an F&P Aerodry 4-kilogram clothes dryer for an extra $1.
