Telstra-branded phones back on Telstra Stores' shelves

Telstra Stores and dealers are again selling VTech-made, Telstra-branded cordless home phones, according to a release from the Hong Kong manufacturer.

As reported exclusively by Current.com.au late last month, Telstra instructed dealers to remove VTech stock from their shelves following allegations of poor working conditions at its mainland China factories.

“We are pleased with the Telstra decision," said VTech CEO and chairman Allan Wong. "We will continue to ensure that our humane management practices are fully implemented in our factories, and our employees are working in a safe and harmonious environment."
