Last chance for tickets to the 2012 Design Awards

Tickets have almost sold out for the 2012 Australian International Design Awards, according to Good Design Australia, the company that organises the gala event.

The 2012 AIDA presentation will be in Sydney, at the City Recital Hall at Angel Place, before a cocktail reception and an after party at The Ivy on George Street.

Respected SBS newsreader Lee Lin Chin has been booked as the master of ceremonies, while the guest of honour is New South Wales Premier Barry O'Farrell.

The appliance and consumer electronics industries are once again well-represented amongs the Awards finalists, with Breville, Miele, Dyson and Electrolux among those nervously awaiting the results.
