With the Olympics just around the corner and retailers looking to promote sales of flat panel televisions and home entertainment products, LG Electronics has launched a new cash back promotion for consumers across products in its 2012 TV and AV line-up.

Consumers who purchase a selected LG 3D Cinema TV as well as a selected product from the LG AV range or LG TV range will be eligible to receive up to $300 cash back. Purchases must be made on the same day, before 15 August 2012, and cash back is available to a limited number of consumers.

There are two combinations of products available (see the table below) with $300 cash back for the first 4,500 consumers who apply for Combo 1 on LG’s dedicated promotion website, and $150 available to the first 4,000 consumers who apply for Combo 2.

“With most households in Australia owning more than one TV, this promotion can allow for consumers to cost effectively upgrade two TVs in their household,” said an LG spokesperson. “It can also be used for customers wanting to make the most out of their new LG Cinema 3D experience with the addition of a Blu-ray player, home theatre system, or Bluray PVR to their entertainment package.”
