Asus recruits star performer to marketing team

Taiwanese PC manufacturer Asus has bolstered its marketing department with the appointment of Sally Vernon, formerly the marketing manager at Convoy International.

In her new role, Vernon will be the PR manager for the System Business Group, looking after notebooks, netbooks and tablets. This will include Asus' Zenbook ultrabook and Transformer tablet products.

While at Convoy International, Vernon distinguished herself marketing brands such as Bowers & Wilkins, Monster Cable and Harmon Kardon. Of particular note was Vernon's work on the Beats by Dre range, which has experience phenomenal success in Australia over the last 18 months.
