Lionel Lee told Current.com.au that 'Murph', as he is known to many in the industry, is very pleased to be re-joining the major appliances category with over 38 years of experience.

“We are pleased that Murph has made the decision to join us, we realise he had many choices, however he chose us because of our core family values when it comes to the running of our business. He comes to Bing Lee with the responsibility of helping us in conjunction with Diana Jacob and Gary Lee, to further our whitegoods and our cooking appliance business," Lee said.

Murphy stepped down from his role as general manager at Winning Appliances in December last year.
