According to the ACCC’s dedicated Product Recalls website, this heater has “units [that] may rupture when turned on and allow oil to leak out”, and that, “The oil may leak and emit an odour which may cause users to become nauseous”.

Affected consumers are advised to immediately stop using this heater and return to the nearest Coles Supermarket for a full refund.

This heater ruptured in my children's room at 3am this morning- if my son didn't wake up they would be dead right now -- my house is toxic and full of chemicals with a 4 week old baby --- considering legal action

This heater started dripping black oil which pooled under the heater while it was turned on. Thankfully this occurred before bedtime and so was detected by the foul toxic smoke it created. The carpet in in my sons room has absorbed the oil and now the room has an overpowering smell of chemicals in it. I am demanding the ACCC test the oil to determine if it is harmful to humans

This is the 3rd day after the heater is ruptured at my children's room as well.. Thanks God there were not at home.. The company sent people to clean the carpet but our home is still affected by the smell of the chemicals and I'm worried because we developed allergic reaction (headache, nausea and cough) I don't know what can we do more as I kept try to clean the carpet many times but the smell is still there !!
