Sony Computer Entertainment is following in the footsteps of Canon and Xbox 360 by releasing a limited edition, stylised version of the PlayStation 3.

This new 320GB PS3 is a striking ‘Scarlet Red’ and will come bundled with two Dualshock 3 controllers in the same colour scheme.

“With a huge line-up of exclusive AAA titles, Blu-ray player functionality, a world of online services via the PlayStation Network and now an all-new eye catching colour, there has never been a better time to discover the power of PS3,” reads the media release.

The new PS3 will be available from “select stores” for RRP $459. Harvey Norman online is currently selling the original black 320GB PS3 for $398.
