To celebrate the launch of its new XDECT 61XX range (from RRP $159), Uniden is offering consumers a free pair of Cresyn Earphones with Swarovski Cut Crystal, via redemption, with purchases of the ‘smart’ home phone.

Not only does the 61XX range feature Bluetooth pairing so users can make and receive landline and mobile calls on either their smartphone or their home phone, it also includes a USB charging slot. Additional features include Uniden’s HD Sound for improved voice clarity and the ability to download the contact list from a smartphone onto the home phone.

“Pairing your mobile phone to the XDECT 61XX Dual Mode Bluetooth System is like adding a couple of additional handsets to your mobile phone,” said Uniden senior national marketing executive Brad Hales. “It is like having a smartphone in every room so you never miss that important phone call.”

The new 61XX range has USB charging for smartphones.

Hales said users who suffer from mobile carrier blackspots where they live can eliminate this frustration by taking their mobile phone calls over their landline.

Up to four mobile phones can be paired to this range, which can be used in conference call scenarios.

Consumers who purchase either the XDECT 6135BTU+2 or the XDECT 6135BTU+1 before 30 June 2012 are eligible to receive the free pair of earphones.
