Kodak may now be a footnote in digital imaging history, but the other name synonymous with the pre-digital photography age, Polaroid, is still going strong, today launching a new hybrid digital/instant camera.
Described as “vintage digital” in a nod to the ubiquitous hipster movement, the Z340 is a 14-megapixel camera capable of storing images on an SD Card or printing them moments after snapping through its built-in ZINK ink-free printer.

The Z340 has a 2.7-inch LCD screen for framing and reviewing images, as well as imaging features including ISO settings and scene modes such as portrait, sunset and backlight.
The camera can print out up to 25 photographs on one battery charge, with the image size fixed at 3 x 4 inches (7.6 x 10.1 centimetres).
The Polaroid Z340 is RRP $369. The camera pack includes 10 sheets of photo paper, with refills available for RRP $29.95 for 30 sheets.
