Fujitsu PC launches thinnest and lightest Lifebook yet

Fujitsu PC has announced the launch of a new model in its Lifebook range, the slimline 13.3-inch Lifebook SH771.

Made from lightweight magnesium alloy, the 1.22-kilogram notebook is the thinnest and lightest two-spindle 13.3-inch Lifebook to date according to the company, and includes models with both i5 and i7 Intel Core processors, as well as the option of hard disk drives a solid state drive.

“Fujitsu understands the importance of the balance between power and portability for modern day usage and we address those needs in our products, pushing the limits of design and innovation to bring quality and reliable products to our users,” said Fujitsu PC ANZ country manager, Bert Noah.

“The introduction of the Fujitsu Lifebook SH771 marks the start of a line of products that will take our designs to the next level.”

The SH771 features USB 3.0 connectivity which allows for the charging of devices (such as smartphones) without turning on the computer. It also features a Super Fine HD back-lit LED display and Intel Wireless Display that lets users share content such as photos and YouTube clips with a compatible HD TV.

The Lifebook offers 9.5 hours of runtime on a standard battery, and up to 14 hours when used with the modular bay battery option, and in terms of security, it also features a fingerprint sensor with visual authentication.

The Lifebook SH771 is available now from Fujitsu PC (distributed in Australia by Bluechip Infotech and Multimedia Technology).

Pricing, provided by Fujitsu:
SH771 with Intel Core i5, 640GB Hard drive and 4GB of Memory – RRP $2,188.
SH771 with Intel Core i7, 750GB Hard drive and 8GB of Memory – RRP $2,588.
SH771 with Intel Core i7, 128GB SSD and 8GB of Memory – RRP $2,588.
