Asko has launched two consumer promotions in the lead-up to Christmas, with the Swedish wet appliance specialist offering a special price on dishwashers and a gift with purchase on washing machines.

Between now and 31 January 2012, Asko is offering introductory prices for its D5424 range of dishwashers, available in white (D5424WH, new RRP $998) and stainless silver (D5424SS, new RRP $1,198). Features of these dishwashers include six programs, six temperature settings, 14 place settings, a 4-star water rating and a 2.5-star energy rating.

To encourage sales of its washing machines, Asko is, for the first time, leveraging its distribution of the Morphy Richards range of small appliances. Consumers who purchase any of the four washing machines in the Asko range will also receive a new ComfiGrip Iron and Shirtmaster Ironing Board, with a combined value of $279.

The four models in the Asko washing machine range are the W6444, W6564, W6884ECO (all freestanding) and the W6984Fi (integrated).
