Blanco launches new microwaves for all families great and small

Blanco has today announced the launch of a new range of microwaves, with four models targeted at everything from small apartment living to larger family homes. Aside from conventional microwave oven cooking, the new multipurpose models also include options for grilling and convection cooking.

Speaking about the company’s microwave offering, brand manager Jennelle Larven said the category continued perform well, with new features that would entice consumers.

“Microwave ovens are a staple in the Australian kitchen, providing consumers – especially those with busy lifestyles – with a quick and convenient way of cooking,” said Larven. “The Microwave market is competitive with focus on quality and value for money along with an array of microwaves with features available to suit the varying needs of consumers.

“Consumers often use their microwave to re-heat and defrost,” she added. “The technology and full feature set being offered by Blanco’s new release models allows the flexibility to cook tasty meals whilst still having convenience at the forefront of the consumers mind!”

The range features four models, including a combination microwave oven with grill (MF34CX), and three microwave ovens with auto-cook menus (MF29SX, MF34SX and MF37GX).

“The MF34CX combination microwave oven with grill is designed to be highly functional with its built in convection and grilling features. The MF34CX also has nine auto-cook menu options to make cooking of common items easier and quicker. Combine that with the unit’s one touch function allowing you to cook or reheat your favourite dishes with one tap, and this microwave oven is ideal for any meal, any night of the week.”

The MF29SX offers five automatic cooking options in a 29-litre capacity, while the 34-litre MF34SX and the 37-litre MF37GX are designed for larger homes. Both the latter models feature sequence programming that allows users to automatically set the microwave to cook after defrosting, as well as grill elements that ensure quicker cooking times and browned food.
