In the lead up to the Australian summer, Omega Altise has launched a new range of portable air conditioners that boast Aqua Chill and Double Condenser technology for advanced cooling.

According to Omega Altise brand manager Belinda Toner, “The features offered in the new Omega Altise cooling range mean consumers can have ultimate control over the temperature in their homes.

“As the weather starts to heat up, it is great to be able to provide consumers with portable cooling appliances that are both powerful and aesthetically pleasing,” she said.

The range includes 4 portable air conditioners, 2 with 12,000 BTU cooling capacity (APC12CVA and APC12RCVA) and 2 with 14,000 BTU cooling capacity (APC14CVA and APC14RCVA). Each unit has has a cooling, dehumidifier and fan option, while the APC12RCVA and APC14RCVA also function as reverse-cycle models, with heating functions that offer consumers “year round temperature control from just one appliance”.

The new air conditioners feature Aqua Chill technology, a special feature that ensures energy efficiency by recycling condensed humidity from the surrounding air. In addition, Double Condenser technology “efficiently cools air twice before circulating”. Each unit also features auto water evaporation, an LCD display and an electronic remote control.

Omega Altise’s new portable air conditioners join two existing models in the company’s appliance range: a portable split system air conditioner with inverter technology (OAPS141C) and a 10,000 BTU model with variable thermostat (OAPC10).

The new range will be available at “all leading appliance retailers including Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, Retravision and Bing Lee”.
