SYDNEY, NSW: Blanco has today announced the release of a new range of gas on glass cooktops, combining the minimalism of black glass with the benefits of gas cooking.

According to Blanco brand manager Jennelle Larven, “The new Blanco ‘Gas on Glass’ cooktops will be a genuine talking point in kitchens around Australia.”

“The remarkable visual contrast of black glass topped with the unique design of the cast iron trivets will give our customers something to talk about when showing off their new appliances,” said Larven.

The European appliance brand designed the cooktops with simplicity in mind, “with a clean new look, smart touch controls and the convenience of a surface that is easy-to-clean”. The range includes four models, range in size from 60 centimetres up to 90 centimetres for larger kitchens, with all models featuring a dedicated wok burner.

The top of the range 90cm cooktop (CGG905WTFFC, RRP $2,499) features an “easy to operate” touch control panel designed to “draw the eye of everyone who enters the kitchen as another point of difference”. It also features a clock display, safety lock, timer function and flame failure.

“We’re confident that the beauty of black glass combined with the smart technology found in our new Gas on Glass cooktop range will tick the right boxes for Australians looking to create a strong statement about the design and functionality of their kitchen” added Larven.

The Blanco Gas on Glass cooktop range is available nationally, with prices starting at RRP $1,299.
