SYDNEY, NSW: Conair, the Australian distributor of the VS for Men and VS Sassoon brands, is celebrating today after yesterday’s announcement of two big awards successes.

The VS for Men i-trim Stubble + Facial Trimmer was awarded the Australian Beauty Award for Judge’s Choice Guy Product – Hair Removal. The award, decided on by a panel of industry experts, was a strong achievement for Conair, according to marketing manager Peter Brewer.

“The i-trim Stubble + Facial Trimmer is an obvious winner for Conair” said Brewer. “This product has been a huge sales success and driven new sales growth in the grooming category for retailers.”

Following the success of the i-trim Stubble +, Conair is launching an upgraded i-trim Precise Stubble Trimmer (VS7890A), “which has been getting rave reviews from customers in our recent trial testing,” Brewer said.

In women’s grooming products, the VS Sassoon brand has also found success. The VS Big Hair Styler was judged as one of the Shop Til You Drop Genius Buys for 2011, as judged by a panel of beauty and fashion experts from ACP magazines.
