SYDNEY, NSW: Endurance Distributors is set to take over the New Zealand distribution of Hagemeyer Appliances brands Blanco and Omega. Endurance Distributors currently distribute the JVC and Polaroid brands for Hagemeyer.

The new distribution operation will be headed by managing director of Endurance Distributors, Christ de Wit, who has over 20 years experience in the consumer electronics and appliance trade.

“We are delighted to add more value to both Hagemeyer Appliances and Hagemeyer Brands Australia by supplying both Blanco and Omega to the New Zealand market place,” said de Wit. “Both of these brands add prestigious products to our range that appeal to both the consumer and commercial markets in New Zealand.”

General manager of Hagemeyer Appliances Gavan McKenna hopes the move will build on the growth that the Blanco and Omega brands have achieved in the Australian marketplace.

“Endurance Distributors are the ideal partner for this task and we look forward to seeing similar success by working with them,” McKenna said.

Endurance Distributors will begin distribution of Blanco and Omega products on 1 June 2011.
