SYDNEY, NSW: Toshiba has today released seven new models in its Satellite range of retail consumer notebooks. Features of the new models include USB 3.0 and improved battery life.
Talking about the new range, which starts at RRP $599, is B2C product marketing manager Anthony Geronimo.
“Consumers are looking to connect, share and enjoy content in their own homes, whether it’s streaming video to their TV, viewing photos, browsing the web or listening to music in high quality,” he said. “The Satellite range of notebooks ensures seamless connectivity in the home.”
Geronimo highlighted three key features included in the Satellite range: USB 3.0 for transfer speeds up to 10 times faster than 2.0; a 25 per cent increase in battery life; and Resolution+, which upscales low definition content into HD for watching videos on an HD TV.
Selected new models in the range include:
- The C660 (RRP $599 to $699): an Intel Core i3 PC with 2GB RAM and 500GB hard drive. This model, which has a 15.6-inch LED backlit display, is targeted at the price-conscious end of the market.
-The L730 (RRP $999): a white PC with 13.3-inch LED display, Intel Core i5, 4GB RAM and 640GB hard drive.
-The P750 (RRP $1,199 to $1,499): models in this series are either Intel Core i5 or i7. Features across series include USB 3.0, a 15.6-inch LED display, 750GB hard drive and 6GB RAM. This series comes in a metallic urban finish with glossy black keyboard.
