SYDNEY, NSW: Virgin Mobile has tapped ex-Telstra head of mobile marketing David Scribner to be its new marketing director.

Scribner will commence this new role on 27 April 2011. Prior to this appointment Scribner was the marketing director for gaming machine giants Aristocrat. Before that, he was the head of mobile marketing at Telstra.

“I am delighted that David has joined Virgin Mobile and brings with him a wealth of experience in the marketing profession,” said Virgin Mobile CEO Sue Bailey. “We look forward to him starting in late April and with his strong Telco background have no reservations that he will fit right in.”
