Whirlpool expands dishwasher range

SYDNEY, NSW: Three new dishwashers with varying price points have been designed to join the Whirlpool line up of kitchen appliances and offer more choice to consumers looking for a fully integrated kitchen package.

At the high end of the range sits a 10 wash function dishwasher that is targeted at the ‘enthusiast’. It comes in stainless steel only, is RRP $949, and features a 4 WELS star rating and a 3.5 MEPS star rating. This appliance comes with all the bells and whistles including a heavy, glass, normal or express function, 14 place settings, a 12-hour timer delay and turbo dry.

The mid level dishwasher comes in stainless steel (RRP $829) and white (RRP $749) and is marketed at the ‘time saver’ consumer. It features 9 wash functions and has 12 place settings, plus an LED display, a half load option, an express function and a 12-hour timer delay.

The entry level washers come in metallic (RRP $699) and white (RRP $649) and offer four wash functions and 12 place settings.

Consumers who purchase any dishwasher from the range will receive 100 days of free Finish dishwashing product, valid until the end of May 2011.
