SYDNEY, NSW: St George Appliances, the only oven supplier that shares its name with the reigning NRL premiers, has launched a new premium sub-brand to be sold through its chartered agents.

There are two models in this new Genesi range, both with price points that clearly represent their premium positioning in the marketplace.

For RRP $11,999, consumers can purchase the Double Freestanding Cooker (SG12FF-6T). This monolithic oven features upper and lower heating elements, a grill fan element, defrost function, a rotisserie and a cast iron hotplate/teppanyaki plate. The large oven body has a 78-litre capacity whilst the smaller cavity is 35 litres.

Complementing this magnificent piece of machinery is its little brother, the Freestanding Cooker (SG9F-6). This model is RRP $6,799. It contains many of the functions of the Double model, except it is missing the extra oven cavity and the hotplate.

Both these models have six cooktop hobs.

Here’s an enthusiastic Peter Woodland, owner of St George Appliances distributor, talking up this release.

“St George Appliances’ Genesi range marks a pinnacle within the freestanding oven market and is an ideal kitchen addition for Australia’s increasingly food-conscious home chefs,” he said.
