NERRANDERA, NSW: New South Wales Police have apprehended two men accused of selling high-end stereo equipment out of the back of white vans in Narrandera, about 550 kilometres southwest of Sydney.
The Police got the tip on these illicit tweeter salesmen from the public, apprehending them shortly after midday on Tuesday 31 August 2010. All told, the Police uncovered over $160,000 worth of home entertainment products in the two vans, in addition to more $13,000 in cash.
The two men, aged 25 and 26 years, are both from Lalor in Victoria. Police charged the former with one count of goods in custody and the latter with two counts of goods in custody. Both men have been bailed to reappear in court on 22 October 2010.
