SYDNEY, NSW: Retailers are eager to support digital radio innovation due to flat sales in the audio category, according to Digital Radio Plus, who supports a partnership of commercial and public radio broadcasters set up in Australia.

Bush Australia is riding on the back of the national digital radio campaign with a broad new range of Grundig, Revo and Bush digital radios at varying price points.

A new line up of DAB+ radios are ready for Father’s Day promotions while more will be made available in the lead up to Christmas.

Handheld walkers, bedside clocks, portables, Microsystems and innovative solar powered digital radios are part of the trio’s range of products.

Bush marketing assistant, Jacqueline Hickman, spoke with Current.com.au yesterday about Bush, Grundig and Revo products, which are under the Harvard International group of companies.

“In Australia, Bush offers customers entry level products that are still good quality with intelligent designs and features,” said Hickman.

“Grundig is a well known product with a respected quality brand in Australia. The new products have been really well thought out. They have been created and designed here in our [Sydney] office.”

In the following months Grundig will be promoting the new Trio and Trio Touch Micro Systems as its hero products. They are sleek, modern looking machines with detachable speakers, a touch screen, compatible with all i-Pods and i-Phones and offer 20 favourite station presets.

Hickman said she expected the two Trio models will sell well for Christmas. They are available in October, RRP $349.
