SYDNEY, NSW: Recruitment is currently in progress for a national retail sales and marketing manager, following Kim Hiland’s resignation from the commercial cleaning equipment company.

Hiland worked in the position for over eight years, having worked previously for Breville, Remington and Braun.

According to Hiland the move is amicable as the sales and marketing manager seeks new career challenges.

“I have very much enjoyed the years I have worked with Nilfisk and will dearly miss my colleagues,” said Hiland.

“Yet it is time for me to move on, face some new adventures and take my career in another direction.”

Stephen Makins, general ganager of Nilfisk-Advance Australia and New Zealand, said “Kim has played an integral role in the development of the Nilfisk brand in Australia. Kim provided strong local marketing skills to complement the quality engineering focus that the group prides itself on. She leaves us on the best of terms, she will be missed, and we wish her all the very best in her future endeavors.”

Hiland has not announced if she will stay within the consumer electronics and appliance industry, but said she was intending on steering her career into a different channel in a more senior marketing position.
