SYDNEY, NSW: Showcasing appliances on reality television programmes has fast become a popular promotional ploy, and suppliers are quick to invest in new opportunities.

Fisher and Paykel are next in the line up for the television platform by getting on board with Channel 10's From the Ground Up, due to start screening in October.

The show will follow four Australian couples as they build their home from scratch over a 10-week period.

All the kitchens will feature Fisher & Paykel products with the challenge winners securing Fisher & Paykel’s premium Izona range of appliances including the CookSurface and CoolDrawer.

Speaking about the involvement, Fisher and Paykel national marketing manager, Peter Russell said, “We are delighted to be associated with this exciting new production which will be watched by builders, renovators, investors, upgraders and anyone who is interested in property.”

The show will be hosted by Jake Tyson and former Channel Nine weather presenter Felicity Whelan.
