Laser recruits industry pro to oversee key retail accounts

SYDNEY, NSW: IT and accessories specialists, Laser Corporation, has announced the appointment of a new retail business manager for its Dick Smith and Derni Group accounts.

The new pro in the hot seat is Sharyne Mendoza, who joins Laser after stints with Doro, Ingram Micro, Acer and Oricom International. Mendoza has been in the IT industry for 16 years, having started her career at Telstra in 1994.

Talking about this appointment is Laser MD Chris Lau.

“Sharyne has a demonstrated track record in the IT industry and is a consistent high performer with customer care at the top of her priorities,” Lau said.

“Her assets are crucial in helping Laser meet the needs of its customers and I am confident that Sharyne will help achieve our growth projections.”

In this role, Mendoza will be reporting to Laser sales general manager Dina Murphy.
