SYDNEY, NSW: A consumer goods survey measuring customer satisfaction has revealed varying results for Australia’s preferred electronics retailers.

‘Going the Extra mile’ has paid off for Retravision, who took out the overall most satisfied customers award by chalking up 24 out of 25 possible stars, in Canstar Blue’s inaugural national survey.

The Good Guys and Clive Peeters followed closely behind with 22 and 21 stars respectively. The Good Guys trumped the five big retailers in the price category and matched Clive Peeters in the range category.

JB Hi-Fi obtained a respectable 17 stars while Harvey Norman and Dick Smith Electronics trailed in at the end, both with 16 stars.

The study asked over 2,500 consumers across key demographics to vote for their currently used brand in each category, covering aspects such as price, service and range of products.

The survey also tracked customer satisfaction for televisions finding Hisense most popular for LCD screens and Panasonic for Plasma.

Females were noted as happier with their appliance retailer than males, according to a statement issued by Canstar Blue.

Canstar Blue is a recent initiative from financial research company, Canstar Cannex.
