SYDNEY, NSW: With winter officially here small appliance supplier, Morphy Richards, has released two Flavour Savour searing slow cookers.

According to the company, the slow cookers includes a feature which sears and slow cooks meat from a single base, rather than the traditional slow cooker method of having to initially sear the meat on a stove.

The new feature makes the overall cooking process more convenient and versatile and with less cleaning up, said Morphy Richards.

Available in sizes of 4.5 and 6.5-litres, the Flavour Savour searing slow cookers also feature in-built browning control, three temperature settings and an easy-to-use keep warm function.

“Over the last two years, we have experienced growth of over 40 per cent in this category, and we expect this to continue again in 2010,” said Morphy Richards marketing coordinator, Anita Brodian.

The cookers also include a digital LCD screen, cool touch handles and non-slip feet.

Available in July, the 4.5-litre (RRP $149.95) and 6.5-litre (RRP $169.95) both come in a fine brushed stainless steel.
