SYDNEY, NSW: With the nationally touring Good Food and Wine Show set to kick off next week in Melbourne, suppliers are planning on taking advantage of Australia’s current love affair with cooking.

To be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from 4 to 6 June, Ilve, Fisher and Paykel, LG Electronics, Breville and Nespresso will be among the suppliers on show.

Ilve in particular has taken a major interest in the show, becoming the key appliance sponsor in 2010, as well as exhibiting for the first time in Adelaide and Perth to complete the show’s national circuit.

Ilve’s sponsorship extends to the show’s Celebrity Theatre and cooking schools, as well as TVCs, major newspaper and magazine prints ads.

“We are extremely pleased with our new association to this important annual event,” said Ilve marketing manager, Daniel Bertuccio.

“We use the Good Food and Wine Shows as essential branding exercises and to showcase the Ilve brand to those especially who may not be too familiar with us.”

After Melbourne, the Good Food and Wine Show moves to Perth on the 2 to 4 July, Sydney on the 16  to 18 July and Adelaide on the 8 to 10 October, before rounding up in Brisbane on 5 to 7 November.
