SYDNEY, NSW: After 14 years at Sony Australia, Russell Nichols has joined Convoy International as an area manager for Queensland. Nichols spent the last decade with Sony as a state manager.

Nichols’ in-depth knowledge of the Queensland market and his experience with big-budget account management were determining factors in his appointment, according to Convoy.

 “It’s rare to find a candidate with Russell’s specific industry knowledge, management experience and level of motivation,” said Convoy International MD Geoff Matthews.

“Russell has proven successes across a broad spectrum of sales and marketing functions.
