Yamaha appoints distributor for its iPod products

SYDNEY, NSW: Yamaha Music Australia has announced the appointment of Simms as the distributor for its range of iPod related products.

Simms is described as a “leading supplier of IT products and services to the retail, reseller, system-integrator, distribution and OEM markets”

Yamaha said Simms will be targeting Apple stores and Apple resellers with these products.

“Yamaha is excited to have Simms on board to broaden the scope of our iPod series of products. Our range has expanded significantly over the past 12 months and with the help of Simms, we will be able to gain a presence in the IT market, reaching new customers along the way” says Yamaha Music Australia AV general manager Simon Goldsworthy.

According to Yahama, Simms was established in 1995 and focuses on world leading vendors.
