SYDNEY: Revo has just announced the arrival of its two latest DAB+ digital radio products for the 2010 season, IKON and DOMINO. Both products feature iPod and iPhone functionality, wireless streaming and internet radio capability.

The IKON is the premium model in the range and is capable of receiving DAB+, internet radio and conventional FM radio with RDS. But the most striking feature of the unit is its 3.5-inch touchscreen and icon-driven interface, which can display station logos, station descriptions, track and artist information.

The IKON can even display full colour album artwork and information when wirelessly streaming digital music from a connected PC or Mac.

In terms of sound quality, the IKON features NXT patented ‘Balanced-Radiator’ loudspeaker technology, which combines the performance attributes of a NXT flat panel speaker with the pistonic movement of a conventional loudspeaker.

The DOMINO is the other product in the range and like the IKON features DAB+, internet radio, FM and iPod and iPhone docking functionality. Where this model differs is that it does not have a touchscreen display.

The DOMINO is being promoted as the perfect table radio and features an innovative joystick-based control system and graphical OLED display.

The DOMINO also features NXT’s patented Balanced Radiator loudspeaker technology combined with a custom-engineered acoustic enclosure.

The Revo IKON is available now for an RRP of $649 and the DOMINO for an RRP of $469.
