SYDNEY: Ilve has just announced the release of its 948 SXMP 90cm built-in oven. According to the company, the 110-litre capacity oven is 30 per cent larger than all ovens in its class.

Ilve states that the latest addition to its Professional Range of kitchen appliances is built to professional standards and requirements. One interesting feature of the 948 SXMP is its automatic roasting probe, which lets you set a temperature and a microprocessor will do the rest.

This processor will then automatically switch off at exactly the temperature you program to ensure the roast is cooked to perfection.

Other features include the new Turbowave Quickstart technology which heats the oven to 180°C in less than eight minutes, electric rotisserie, precision thermostat control, concealed grill element and programmable timer.

The interior is made from low-maintenance, non-staining vitreous enamel for easy cleaning and the oven floor is removable and can fit straight into a dishwasher.

The Ilve 948 SXMP is available in Matt Black, Stainless Steel and Antique White for a RRP of $5,199. It is currently on display at Ilve showrooms and selected retailers across the country.
