MELBOURNE, VIC & SYDNEY, NSW: Pioneer Australia has announced the recruitment of Emily Scott to its stable of DJ ambassadors. Scott, who was briefly married to Ritchie (the blonde one) from the boyband Five, will make her Pioneer DJ debut at a dance event next month.

“I’m really looking forward to hitting the decks on 9 October as my first event for Pioneer with the amazing line-up of DJs right there alongside me on the night,” said Scott.

“This is such an exciting time for the brand with their new weaponry of equipment and for myself being signed as a Pioneer SheDJ. It is also great to think that I can help inspire young female DJs into the scene.”

The event Scott refers to is Australian Made, an all-night Pioneer DJ event being held at Billboard nightclub in Melbourne. Other Pioneer acts appearing that night include Grant Smillie, Eric Powell, JRed, the Stafford Brothers and Jody McLeod.

Pioneer Pro DJ manager Collee Chappell said he was very happy to have Scott on board.

“Pioneer DJ is thrilled to have Emily sign on as a Pioneer SheDJ Ambassador, reinforcing our reputation as the brand of choice amongst professional and aspiring DJs,” said Scott.

“Emily’s signing underpins Australia as the world’s hottest melting pot for female DJ talent, which Pioneer actively promotes with its growing family of SheDJ ambassadors.

“With her ability to draw constant media attention with everything she does, Emily will be armed with the latest DJ weaponry and play a critical role in promoting the Pioneer DJ brand.”

Aside from marrying a poster and her DJing skills, Scott, who originally is a Canberra girl, is also known for appearing on Dancing With The Stars and the covers of various lads mags, including Ralph, FHM and Zoo Weekly.
