New Electrolux floorcare marketing manager no longer in training

By Martin Vedris

MELBOURNE: Like a sportsman making the jump to the first grade team, Julian Huitfeldt has put in the work for years and now he’s stepped up to marketing manager at Electrolux Floorcare.

Julian Huitfeldt has been with Electrolux for five years, working in various divisions of the business in product and marketing roles. Prior to becoming product marketing manager for Australia and New Zealand, he was product manager for Electrolux Vacuums.

Huitfeldt reports to John Mahar, managing director of Electrolux Floor Care and Small Appliances Australia.

“In this role I will continue to drive the company’s goals, including further market share increases both the Electrolux and Volta brands,” said Huitfeldt who was educated at the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, where he majored in Marketing and Economics.

“We’ll aim to do this via the ongoing roll out of Electrolux’s innovative and thoughtfully designed products, supported by best in class execution in point of sale and PR supporting the company’s commitment to providing our valued retailers with profitable, fast moving products.”
