SYDNEY: Uniden Australia has just announced the appointment of Jeremy Nikora as account executive for Victoria.

Nikora joined the team on 1 June 2009 and brings extensive experience in the consumer electronics industry to the team.

He has held positions previously at Fuji Film and Fisher & Paykel, and most recently he worked in the telecommunications industry with Virgin Mobile and Optus.

In the new position, Nikora will be responsible for solidifying Uniden’s growth in its core business area of cordless phones and UHF transceivers.

In addition to this he will also handle Uniden’s drive into the GPS car navigation market.

“Jeremy brings experience and enthusiasm to Uniden’s team. We were impressed from the moment we met him and we are sure our dealers will find his knowledge and support invaluable,” said Peter Whipps, Uniden sales manager.
