Yamaha Music Australia has announced the appointment of a new sales agent for its South Australian business. Yamaha reported that this decision was made to continually improve its service levels in the Festival State.

The new agent is G & S Agencies, which is a family-owned operation based in Queensland.

Discussing this appointment is Yamaha Music Australia general manager – AV, Simon Goldsworthy.

“Adelaide has become a significantly larger market over time and as such requires more attention,” he said. “The appointment of G& S Agencies will ensure greater frequency of visits to dealers in South Australia, in particular Adelaide.”

The G & S Agencies team in South Australia is run by state manager Steve Elkins. Doug Underdown is the account manager for mass market accounts and Colin Moss is the account manager for specialist accounts.

“This decision by Yamaha is endorsement that G & S Agencies offers the best service provided by the best team in the South Australian market,” said G & S Agencies owner Gil Elliott.
